STEADY GROUND: A Farm Experience for Kids of First Responders (Ages 8–12)
This equine- and farm-based experience provides children of first responders with a supportive, hands-on environment where they can slow down, connect, and feel seen. Through gentle interactions with horses and other farm animals, participants practice emotional awareness, communication, and self-regulation in a natural, nonjudgmental setting. The program emphasizes connection—to self, to others, and to animals—helping children build resilience, confidence, emotional regulation, and a sense of safety.
Please note: This program does not include horseback riding.
