NOCO Hero Fest
Thank you to Canvas Credit Union for making Revital the beneficiary of this years event. Come on out for this FREE family friendly event honoring and supporting first responders in our communities. There will be a ton of fun for the kids and food for the adults so share with family and friends! This is the Northern Colorado Hero Fest located in Ft. Collins at the Front Range Village Shopping Center (in the parking lot by Urban Air).
All fundraising and proceeds will benefit first responders through Revital so show your support!
Yoga for Spouses at Barr Lake
Ladies, join us for a relaxing morning of yoga at the gazebo on Barr Lake. This will be a great time to find some relaxation and focus on your wellness as the summer is winding down. This will also give us time to connect with other first responder spouses and significant others. This outing will be hosted by Toni Mortensen and yoga will be taught by Jess King.
Rangers will take us by golf carts (Eagle express) out to the gazebo where we will do yoga there and then golf carts back to the cars (you can walk the 1.5 mile back after yoga if you prefer). You will have to pay to get into the park unless you paid the park fee on your car registration.

Fly Fishing at CYO 9/15
Let’s get out and enjoy some beautiful weather while working on our fly fishing skills. Responders join us for a 1/2 day of fly fishing with 2 instructors and fishing in the ponds at Colorado Youth Outdoors. Everything will be provided included lunch. This outing will be hosted by Michael Hughes.

Enjoy a day of flyfishing from a drift boat or raft. You will have the opportunity to catch wild trout and explore sections of river that are not otherwise accessible. No experience or gear is necessary. Lunch, snacks, and water will be provided. Exact float locations are dependent on current conditions. Expect to meet at 6 am and return sometime between 4 and 7 pm (the time depends on conditions and location). This outing will be hosted by Corey Davidson.

FREE RTR Aug/Sept Couples Retreat
Responding to Relationships (RTR) is a customized relationship experience that offers relevant and transformative skills to all U.S. military personnel, veterans, emergency responders, and their partners. Each five-star series is led by relationship skills experts and co-facilitated by couples with first-hand experience in the field.
For this specific retreat, there will be a kick-off event on Friday, August 22nd that you must attend before the retreat in September. Everything is FREE and covered, including your hotel stay for 2 nights and childcare if registered in time.
We have had amazing feedback from other responder couples and highly recommend taking advantage of this retreat.

Pickleball Date Night for Couples
Join us for couples pickleball at 3rd Shot in Longmont. We will get a brief overview of the sport by a 3rd shot trainer then rotate courts and practice our skills against each other for 2 hours. After that, we will enjoy burgers by the Chubburger food truck! Paddles can be rented or bring your own. This outing will be hosted by Lindsay & Brett Biggs.

Revitalizing Guardians Coffee & Conversation for Spouses of First Responders
Ladies, we are excited to start our Revitalizing Guardians Spouse Group. Join us for a relaxed evening where first responder spouses can connect over coffee/refreshing drinks, share experiences, and build a strong community. This is a great opportunity to meet others who understand the unique challenges and joys of this life. We can’t wait to see you there! This outing will be hosted by Toni Mortensen.
We will be sharing about the October zoom meeting and in person meeting as well.

Responder Dual-Sport Motorcycle Ride
Responders, join us for a Dual-Sport fall color site-seeing motorcycle ride. The plan will be to meet in Sedalia on Hwy 67, go out Rampart Range Road for maybe an hour at most, back to Hwy 67, out to the South Platte River near Deckers and around to The Sprucewood Inn for lunch, and back to Sedalia. Mileage will depend on the speed and feel of the group, but this will be a CHILL street and dirt road ride at a relaxed pace.
You must have a plated street-legal dual-sport motorcycle that is at home on the road and on the bumpy dirt, so no motocrossers or Hawgs. Anything up to a GS BMW will work. You must have all appropriate safety equipment - certainly a helmet.

September Pickleball for First Responders
We will have 2 pickleball courts set up for 2 hours @ Boulder Pickleball. Whether you are an avid pickleball player or have ever wanted to try the game, this will be a great opportunity. There will also be an instructor for one of those hours to help new players learn. Paddles and balls will be provided. This will be a great way to enjoy a few hours of fun and competition. Food afterwards at Wild Pastures Burger Co. This outing will be hosted by Tim Felton.

Cooking Class for Couples
Enjoy a night for responder couples, an interactive cooking class where you and your partner team up to create a delicious meal from scratch. Guided by a professional chef. After the class, sit down with the other responder couples to enjoy the meal you’ve all prepared. **Not gluten free kitchen**

Fall Fly Fishing in Estes
Fall Fly Fishing (Estes Park-Big Thompson River). Let’s get out on the water to enjoy some beautiful scenery, hopefully catch some fish, and connect with other responders. Please bring your own rod, reel, waders, boots, seasonal appropriate clothing. Some gear can be provided by Revital; please notify us ASAP if gear is needed. We will hit a local restaurant for lunch afterwards. This outing will be hosted by Derek Mayer and Brad Frederking.
Must have some basic or intermediate fly fishing experience.

5th Annual Battle of the Badges Fundraiser
Join us Saturday, September 27th in supporting first responders at our 5th Annual Battle of the Badges! This will be a Fire vs. Police hockey game at the Blue Sport Stable in Superior to see if the fire can defend their win from last year or if the police team will take back the trophy. We welcome everyone so please bring neighbors, friends and family who would like to support local first responders. All funds will go towards providing important mental health and wellness resources, outings and retreats free of charge for responders and their families.
**New this year, we will have 2 different level hockey games to get more responders and families involved**

Get those blades sharpened and air out your pads. Let’s suit up for some drop-in hockey. We will have the ice for about 2 hours to play, practice, or just work on improving your hockey skills. Pads are a must. 30 spots available so grab some other responders and head out. Lunch will be served after in the restaurant. Game on! This event will be hosted by Chris Whitson with Louisville Fire.

Responders, let’s grab some food, then crack some codes! We'll hang out over dinner at Beau Jo's in Fort Collins, then hit an escape room for some laughs and teamwork. Just good vibes, good pizza, and a little brain power. This outing will be hosted by Kat Desonier.

Epic Sky Trek for Couples
Couples, get out for a day of fun! The Epic aerial trekking course incorporates 110 unique elements ranging from simple skybound strut to full-fledged daredevil achievement. It’s the ultimate 4 story jungle gym experience. After, you will all grab lunch together at Great Divide. This outing will be hosted by Daniel & Lauren Capper.
Couples Holey Moley Golf & Dinner
It’s time for a date night with your significant other at Holey Moley in Denver alongside other first responder couples. Enjoy 18 holes and dinner after at their restaurant. This outing will be hosted by Brianne & Logan Price.

Law Enforcement Golf Outing
This golf outing is specifically for law enforcement. We will be combining teams with the firefighters/EMS at Mad Russian Golf Course for a fun and competitive 18 holes of golf. At the end of the round, we will gather for lunch and prizes will be given to the foursome with the lowest combined score. This will be a great way to get out with other first responders and have an enjoyable day on the course. Meet at 8am for warm up and the tee times are 9am & 9:12am. Couples Pickleball Date Night
It's time to have fun as a couple! Bring your spouse/significant other for 2hrs of Pickleball play. We'll have someone give us the run down of the sport and then we'll be free to play! We have 3 courts reserved so everyone can play at the same time! Let's have fun with each other and a little friendly competition. Snacks and drinks are provided and there will be more snacks and drinks for purchase there as well. Bring your rackets if you have them or we can rent you some as well. This outing will be hosted by Jessica and Nolan Manzano.

Climb for Connection
Climb for Connection is a community powered fundraiser in support of Revital. Sign up to hike the Manitou Incline on September 7th to help raise funds for first responders. We are honored and thankful to Anne Manning for setting up this event. There are a few ways to participate:
Meet at the bottom of the Incline at 8am to climb.
Come to happy hour @Ivywild School following the climb from 12-4pm.
Donate to Revital in honor of first responders as we approach 9/11. Donations being excepted through Venmo to @revitalcolorado.

Kingston Peak OHV Adventure
Join us for a fun-filled family off-roading adventure to Kingston Peak, one of Colorado's most scenic high-alpine trails. We will meet in Nederland grab some coffee and then hit the trial. Bring a rock to put up at the mailbox at one of the pull offs before we descend down into Alice. We will grab some lunch along the 70 Corridor in evergreen on our way back to the metro area. Estimated time for trail completion is 5 hours due to the holiday weekend and possible heavy traffic.
Bring some water and trail snacks.
You must have your own street legal OHV such as a Jeep, 4 runner, or Bronco. This trail is rated as a moderate with a technical rating of a 6. 4WD and 4 Low is required, 33" or greater tires suggested. Stock jeeps can complete this trail but may encounter some undercarriage damage if wrong line is taken due to large rocks and new Colorado pin stripes on your paint are possible. This outing will be hosted by Ryan Caviness & Nathan Burch.

Ladies, join us for an evening at Makeshift Crafts in Westminster. Together we will have a private lesson to learn the art of pressing summer florals into fabric and then the intricate art of embroidering around them. August Suicide Loss Support Group
Join us for a virtual support group for survivors of suicide the second Tuesday of every month. This group will be for family members, co-workers, close friends of first responders who have died by suicide and it's also for responders who have experienced the suicide of a family member, co-worker, or close friend.

Noah's Ark Retreat for Weld County Responders
If you’re a responder who works or lives in Weld County, this is an awesome retreat for you sponsored by the Weld County Trust. Join a few other responders for an adventure filled time and connection with others. Plan on leaving with the group the morning of July 30th, camping in large tents, and returning by the afternoon of Aug 1st. You will get to experience guided fly fishing, rafting, rock climbing, bon fires, and other activities on the beautiful property at Noah’s Ark in Buena Vista. No experience required for any of the activities.
July 30th - Arrive around lunch time and eat, guided fly fishing on the Arkansas River, dinner, camping
July 31st - Browns Canyon All Day rafting, meals and camping
Aug 1st - AM rock climbing, lunch, depart
