Support First Responders Mental Health and Wellness in Honor of Michael Hawkins

Merrisa Garrod, daughter of Michael Hawkins, is excited to host the 2nd annual Hawkins' Heroes Fundraiser! This year, we’re hitting the courts for a pickleball tournament February 28th, 2026 at Chicken N Pickle in Thornton, CO and launching an online silent auction.

My father, Michael Hawkins, spent his whole life serving others as a paramedic while also struggling with mental health. He lost his battle and ultimately took his life February 2024. My dad was always helping others, and now it’s our turn to continue that legacy in his memory!

This event will be in honor of him! Bidding for the silent auction will open on February 25, the day he passed, and will close at the pickleball tournament on February 28, 2026. All proceeds go directly to Revital Colorado to support the mental health and wellness of our amazing first responders

Please get your teams together and register, consider bidding, making a monetary donation or share on social media with others who might want to support this cause. With your help, we can truly make an impact on those who serve us.
